I am part of Urban Treescapes' programs team. The team is responsible for the planting and removal of trees on public land in the urban environment, with a focus on using trees for climate adaptation. It involves creating and implementing projects to do with planting trees, communicating the value of trees, using digital mapping and onsite inspection to find appropriate places for trees, responding to tree related requests from the public and working with relevant stakeholders such as tree planting contractors and tree nurseries. There is a consistent mix of out of office and in office work that is flexible to preferences.
