2022 Warehouse Store person - TAFE Students preferred null

 Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Store person will play an integral part in the daily warehousing activities and operations across several sites including, Rozelle (Sydney City Marine), Garden Island Defence Precinct and Auburn. The role will be supporting our Landing Helicopter Docks and Anzac Class Frigate programs and will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure materials are held and available for scheduled maintenance periods and assist in the receipt and management of stores and equipment to respond to unscheduled maintenance.

Your exceptional communication skills will see you establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels and build rapport to achieve a common goal. You are able to work autonomously and maintain composure when there are multiple complex tasks on hand. As well as having a passion for the Defence industry, you will also possess the following:

• Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or ability to obtain);
• Previous warehouse management experience, preferably in the Defence industry;
• Experience and understanding in the movement and storage of Dangerous Goods;
• An understanding of both domestic and international freight procedure, capabilities and limitations;
• Experience and understanding in the use of MILIS, LNIDS, SAP and other ERP systems;
• Forklift Licence;
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).
