Training & Personal Development at Cisco Australia

My first year in the company was training, it involved everything from - Presentation Skills - Executive presence - Sales methodologies - Technology courses (CCDA/CCNA) - Etiquette - Etc.

Cisco will kick off the year with our Global Sales kick off either run locally in Sydney for Australia/New Zealand or in Las Vegas. Outside of the annual sales kick off Cisco also regularly holds video training per quarter and each team individually will create training schedules in accordance to roles and requirements.

Intensive sales training from across the world, including board members of major companies, I.T security specialists and top sales coaches.

Less than a year in my role, I've been provided ITIL training, presentation and facilitation training, and negotiation and influence training.

I can say that Cisco is one of the best companies that you can get trainings. They care about employee's learning process and make sure that they are always up to date with recent technologies.

Certification Training. Soft-skills training. Customer meetings and white boarding skills.

through the graduate program there were 3 formal months of training, along with the opportunity to shadow and learn from day to day activities of others.
