AMG Client Operations plays a very important role in servicing the growing business across Institutional and Wholesale clients. Striving towards achieving client centricity across all stages of a client life cycle.

Opportunity:

This role forms an integral part of the overall sales support coverage model for the Wholesale client channel.  Based in Bangalore the role will encompass responsibility for client servicing and business development. This role will require in-depth knowledge of AMG (Asset Management) solutions and the ability to assess product positioning to meet Client needs.

What you’ll do:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordination and ownership of Sales & Service support processes for the Wholesale distribution channel within Asset Management
  • The role holder will be responsible for overseeing the production and distribution of client reports and investment review meeting materials to support wholesale sales & client service team
  • The role holder will be responsible for oversight of setting up and maintaining Client records in CRM and supporting bespoke client servicing requests and business acceptance processes
  • The role holder will be responsible for overseeing the setup of the Transfer Agent (TA) account and all the fund queries
  • Assist the onshore team in the completion of legal arrangements i.e., Distribution Agreements / Rebates
  • Said individual will play an active role in building up new processes and suggesting improvements and enhancements to existing ones
  • Contribute to the efficiency of the Client Service team
  • Contribute proactively to the overall sales process, growth strategy, and client contact strategy
  • Build strong relationships with the Front Office, Product, and Marketing teams

About you

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Qualification - Post Graduation / MBA / or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute
  • Excellent proficiency in written and verbal English
  • Capital Markets Industry certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of financial products & their role in the Asset and wealth management business
  • Experience in Client Relationship Management, client reporting, sales & service support operations for Independent Financial Advisors, Distributors, Platforms and Institutional clients
  • Experience in supporting the Wholesale Sales team and handling CRM tools in maintaining client relationship data
  • Experience in handling Wholesale/Institutional client service requests – regular and ad-hoc (Reports, Materials, etc.)
  • Knowledge of financial markets, macro-economic environment, theory, tools and strategies
  • Ability to be persuasive, and pragmatic in approach
  • Ability to distill complex and varied data into information, good process analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal & presentation (including advanced PowerPoint) communication skills
  • Stakeholder management is a critical attribute, and the ability to work as a team player is a must.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Knowledge of Institutional and fund business
  • Technical knowledge about various products and strategies – Fixed Income, Equities, Multi-Asset and Alternatives
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused
  • Analytical thinking and good at designing new workflows
  • CFA certification is an addition
