These two teams ensure traded products are fairly valued, correctly accounted and disclosed and, with prudent valuations, reported to the regulators. The training provided would help candidates acquire relevant knowledge and experience required for the treasury control function in a bulge bracket investment bank.

The Opportunity:

The role is an individual contributor in the team, servicing the hub trading sites of HSBC located in London, Paris, Hong Kong, and New York.

What you’ll do:

The role is focused on projects, and reconciliation of front office vs back office vs ledger balances across multiple asset classes such as OMRC, GFX, Credits, Rates, Equities, and IGR. It involves close engagement with on-shore teams and near-shore teams (Krakow and Manila), IT, Operations, etc, validating trade prices with the market data, and reconciling trade from front to back.

About you

Eligibility:

  • Candidates should have passed the IPCC /Intermediate examination
  • Candidates are to have a minimum of 15 (Fifteen) months and a maximum of 18+ (Eighteen) months of Articleship left during the last year of the prescribed period of practical training as of the date of commencement of training.
  • B.Com graduation with a preferred 60% throughout academics.
  • Willingness to work in multiple shifts
  • The final attempt due should be Nov’25

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Working exposure to MS Excel, MS Access, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of derivatives and IFRS
