Your Role

Job responsibility by function.

Marketing:

  • Conduct market research (Consumer, Competition, Brand...).
  • Coordinate & support the operation of go-to-market activations from planning to delivery.
  • Consolidation and interpretation of data in areas of inventory, forecast evolution & sales analysis.
  • Project management, artwork amendments, and coordination among matrix from local to global stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the brand’s strategic planning, monthly content creation, calendar management, execution & results analysis.

Data/Business Analyst:

  • Responsible for generating reports coupled with data consolidation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics and data processes.
  • Prepare meeting materials and present key insights to the team.
  • Perform Ad-hoc business analytical tasks when needed.
  • Design and create reproducible insights.
  • Support Team in Ensuring high integrity data assets are used for business decision-making; Data analysis to provide actionable insights for business decision-making; Ongoing data transformation projects.

Digital:

  • Responsible for data consolidation and reporting.
  • Track digital performance and report on monthly trends, social, and e-store analytics.
  • Work closely with internal teams to facilitate effective CRM strategies and support brand initiatives.
  • Reviewing data and making recommendations based on what the analyst finds after a review of various digital & eCommerce dashboards available.
  • Support the development of a best practice sharing community as part of a digital ecosystem.
  • Contribute to digital initiatives and projects (e.g. beauty and modiface).
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of curating, cataloging, organizing, and distributing digital assets, deliverables, and product data in the Digital Assets.
  • Management and Product Information Management systems.
  • Liaising with external vendors to consolidate, and prepare materials for Digital programs.
  • • Supporting the planning and smooth organization & delivery of events/workshops/teambuilding activities for the Digital Community.

Open Innovation:

  • Conduct market research on startups, technology innovations, and investors.
  • Under guidance, present reviews to various international teams at L’Oréal including experts.
  • Research on emerging technology from start-up companies in various industries and assess the quality of various proposals
  • Participate in the development of collaboration structures and business models for innovation projects
  • Contribute to the organization of other Open Innovation events and activities.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Support the Visual Merchandising team on daily administrative tasks and specific projects.
  • Assist with in-store visual merchandising such as developing key launch concepts, researching materials, and preparing display designs.
  • Work closely with Retail Design, Brand Marketing teams, Design Agencies, Contractors, and Vendors to enhance POS retail excellence.
  • Responsible for creating and tracking purchase orders, as well as generating PO reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding material samples, as well as oversee the picking, packing, and sending of samples back and forth.

Visual Merchandising & Retail Design:

  • Store design and visual merchandising projects (i.e. produce design of small VM models, sketching up modeling of stores, tracking of projects, creating presentations for running projects).
  • Manage and keep track of Retail Design Digest (i.e. overview of projects delivered) by working closely with all SAPMENA markets.
  • Propose ideas and create small-scale launch designs.
  • Manage merchandising activities regionally across different countries and brands, based on internal guidelines.
  • Project management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. design agencies) based locally and globally, within aligned timelines.

Training & Development

You will be paired with an assigned manager who will help guide you throughout your internship. The Internship programs provide you with an orientation tailored to the length of your placement, giving you real insights into the workings of a multinational industry leader.

The estimated salary for this role ranges from SGD 12,000 to SGD 18,000 per year.

About You

  • University student - currently pursuing a Bachelor/Master's Degree in Singapore.
  • Data processing, and data analysis with Excel (including Pivot table).
  • Create a nice presentation with PowerPoint/Canva.
  • Content writing & professional writing communication.
  • Critical thinking & Problem Solving under time pressure.
  • Communication & Presentation.
  • Project Management including personal management.
  • Data analysis & visualization with Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, especially Adobe Photoshop.
  • Available for full-time internship for the 6-month full-time program (2 Jan – 12 July 2024).
