Your role

L'Oréal offers Research internships in the following areas:  

Open Innovation (Technological Scouting SEA & ANZ) Intern

Open Innovation - Technology Scouting Intern for its Open Innovation Team based in Singapore to navigate and scout the universe of technology developers in South East Asia and Australia and New Zealand for the most promising solutions that meet its industry needs.

Research and Innovation Intern

The project that you will be working on combines microbiology, biochemistry, and cell biology knowledge to address fundamental questions about the human skin microbiome and its role
in skin health. This is a perfect position for someone who wants to work in a laboratory setting and gain valuable research experience in preparation for graduate school or a future industrial position.

Training & development

You will be paired with an assigned manager who will help guide you throughout your internship. The internship programs provide you with an orientation tailored to the length of your placement, giving you real insights into the workings of a multinational industry leader.

Salary & benefits

About you

Open Innovation (Technological Scouting SEA & ANZ) Intern requirements:

• Background and interest in technology-related fields such as Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry & Biomedical Sciences
• Passion for spotting new technology opportunities in the beauty world
• Keen interest in Technology and Sciences and their concrete applications in daily life
• Go-getter with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Self-motivated and initiative-taking.

Research and Innovation Intern requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, or any related field
• Enjoys hands-on experimentation and problem-solving technical problems
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal and team skills
• High level of self-motivation and willingness to learn
• Experience with handling human cell lines and microbial cultures is a plus
• Experience with analytical chemistry is a plus.
