Your role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Collaborates with associates and seniors on SOX, Controls Monitoring, Compliance Testing, and IA engagements.
  • Understands key business processes and associated risks and controls.
  • Participates in client discussions, demonstrating knowledge of SOX/Internal Audit concepts.
  • Prepares process flowcharts, narratives, and risk & control matrices.
  • Identifies process gaps and recommends improvements.
  • Conducts design and effectiveness testing, suggesting process improvements.
  • Documents testing work papers per standards.
  • Provides status updates to Project Managers/Supervisors.
  • Suggests ideas for engagement productivity and client service improvement.
  • Manages engagement budgets and compliance.
  • Utilizes technology for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop strong relationships with team and clients.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong audit acumen and professional skepticism.
  • Understanding of risk and controls.
  • Ability to undertake smaller assignments or assist in larger ones with limited supervision.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Remain up to date with developments in area of specialism.
  • Knowledge of PwC's global network and adherence to its code of ethics.
  • Proven knowledge and success in individual contributor roles supporting the review and analysis of clients policies, risk and controls, financial statements etc.
  • Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of tools like Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau.
  • Qualified CA with 0-1 years of relevant experience, preferably with a "Big 4".
  • Graduation - Preferably B.Com.
  • 60% in 10th,12th.
  • CA number of attempts 1-5.
  • Authorized to work in India.
  • Nationality - Indian.
