Support Finance Business Partners on all facets of financial performance (including budgeting and forecasting, analysis and reporting, accounting policy and capital management) by assisting in the high quality analysis and interpretation of the drivers of financial performance using financial models and other tools.

  • Compile, analyse and interpret financial and statistical information relating to business performance.
  • Assist in the production of financial and other management reports.
  • Assist in the co-ordination of budgeting and forecasting.

With Cross River Rail changing the way we travel, to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympics, and all the amazing progress taking place in local communities across our state, there has never been a more exciting time to join Queensland Rail. Adding to this with over 4000km of regional track, Queensland Rail have endless opportunities for you to support exciting, innovative projects across our state to ensure our network is safe and reliable for all our customers, communities and industry. Here's just some of what you could be working on:

  • The $764.3 million European Train Control System rollout.
  • Three new Gold Coast line stations, as well as $2.6 billion Gold Coast Faster Rail Project- track Duplication.
  • The $7.1 billion Ormeau Stabling and Maintenance Facility project.
  • The 65 New Next Generation Rolling Stock (Trains) built in Maryborough.

What you’ll bring

As a graduate, a Bachelor of Accounting, Economics or Business is essential. Other than that, we’d love you to have:               

  • High knowledge of accounting standards, principles and business practices.
  • Substantial skill in using spreadsheets and other enterprise resource  planning (ERP) software systems.
  • Exceptional level of written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
