The Graduate IT Helpdesk Administrator will work alongside the IT Helpdesk team and assist n being the first line of support for the Rheinmetall Defence Australia employees. 

The Graduate IT Helpdesk Administrator will be fully trained and mentored by the team to deal with tickets through the Service Now (SNOW) system as they are logged, either resolving the issue immediately or escalating the issue to Level 2 or Level 3 support agents or to external resolver groups. 

As the Graduate IT Helpdesk Administrator you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include: 

• Monitor Service Desk ticket queries to ensure service levels are maintained;
• Assist with resolving end user issues or escalate as required;
• Assis the team to image and deploy laptops, PCs and peripherals;
• Log calls into Service Now received via phone, email and in person;
• When needed, provide regular communication across the organisation;
• Build relationships with RDA employees to better support with any service desk incidents; and 
• Support business-as-usual tasks, specific project activities, and technology deployments.

About your new team

The RDA Helpdesk team are currently a team of 5, based at our MILVEHCOE facility in Redbank. The greater IT team of approx. 20 consists of System Administrators, Project Managers and our SAP team as well. Although the Helpdesk team is based in QLD, they support RDA employees nationally as well as in New Zealand.

• A relevant technical degree;
• Excellent MS Office experience;
