Ko te angitūtanga | The opportunity:

Our established and vibrant team is looking for a Graduate Buildings Services Electrical Engineer. This role is suitable for a qualified candidate to work on a diverse range of projects. The candidate will ideally have some experience in the design of Commercial Buildings projects and/or supporting infrastructure.

Day to day tasks would involve:

  • Electrical design calculations and assessment
  • 0-3 years experience working on a range of building services projects including retail, commercial office, residential, high rise, industrial, educational, and healthcare.
  • Assist Senior and Project Engineers, along with the wider team, including other disciplines, if required
  • Self-management skills will be as important as your technical design and project management abilities 
  • Prioritise workloads whilst ensuring our clients’ needs are met whilst maintaining strong and trusting working relationships with your colleagues both locally and across the international Stantec team.
  • Build and develop your professional profile and expertise both internally and externally by consistently demonstrating an ability to successfully deliver projects.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of service to Clients.
  • Execute project design, documentation and contract administration services including regular project reviews
  • Be accurate, diligent, and professional.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants.
