Job Description
As a Business Operation Analyst in Transport product team you will be responsible to conduct pricing operations, monitoring, analysis, and optimization, which includes:
- Direct efforts to collect competitive information including pricing, ongoing promotions, and exclusive fares. Monitor new and emerging competitors. Evaluate and report competitive threats from existing and new players periodically.
- Maintain pricing competitiveness and update our pricing scheme on the day-to-day basis based on agreed and defined strategy
- Support Revenue & Growth Manager, Product Manager in conducting regular and ad-hoc performance tracking, analysis and reporting
- Propose & Assist Revenue & Growth Managers, Product Managers & Pricing Team Lead in driving pricing optimization initiatives to achieve specific business objectives
- Propose & Assist team lead in ensuring pricing/monitoring tools are working as expected, e.g. capabilities testing
- Propose & Assist team lead in driving best practices/innovations in pricing, including: Pricing/monitoring tools improvements and capabilities development
Requirements (Education, Technical Skills, Relevant Experiences)
- Must have strong critical and analytical thinking skills
- Have the bandwidth to process a large amount of information (e.g. impact analysis, consumption analysis, competitive pricing analysis)
- Graduated from business, science or engineering majors (e.g. Finance / Management / Industrial Engineering / Mathematics / Statistics / Information System) from a reputable university
- Must have advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Good command of English
- Excellent in execution and possess growth mindset
- Discretion with handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability while also pay attention to details
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in an international team environment
