Due to hybrid work, there tends to be a bit of "meet in passing" that occurs. Rarely do we get together for in-person team building. There are people who come in regularly on certain days, and that builds a good office culture. Our team have gotten together in person to do team lunches etc. and those are a highlight. A few times after hours we have also gone out as a team to meet in a more social setting. Amazon has many small teams, so cooperation and teamwork are built into the hierarchy and culture, and people are amazingly helpful. Rarely has someone said, "No, I can't help."
