There is evidence based promotion processes, but there is lots of opportunity given the growing nature of the firm.

Due to hybrid work, there tends to be a bit of "meet in passing" that occurs. Rarely do we get together for in-person team building. There are people who come in regularly on certain days, and that builds a good office culture. Our team have gotten together in person to do team lunches etc. and those are a highlight. A few times after hours we have also gone out as a team to meet in a more social setting. Amazon has many small teams, so cooperation and teamwork are built into the hierarchy and culture, and people are amazingly helpful. Rarely has someone said, "No, I can't help."

Within my org, out of about 50 engineers, there are 2 women (including me). The gender diversity in my org is particularly terrible. I haven't seen any efforts within my org to fix this (which does not necessarily mean nothing is happening). The org is very racially diverse and we go out of our way to celebrate many different cultural events and to make sure that all communities feel welcome.

Engaging customers, trying to identify their problems and connect them with the village of Amazonians that have the expertise to solve those problems. This means calling customers, hosting meetings, preparing experts with customer information for those meetings and collating compelling narratives around a problem or solution from our thousands of customer references. It also means connecting with the Amazon Partner Network - learning about our partners, their offerings and other opportunities or relationships with our customers.

They are accessible, and understanding when you need time off etc. Internal communication has been disjointed this year with changing structures.

Lovely modern space- kitchenette is clean and lovely with coffee machine, soft drinks, waters, snacks etc.

The interview process was positive. Nice people who gave their time to also tell me about their job and time. The emphasis on experience and diverse experience was appreciated and was why I wanted to work here. Getting results from interviews back took a long time.

It seems higher than average compared to other grads, and it's enough for me to be comfortable.

I had 3 months to learn at the beginning of my job. Very generous. And there are always ongoing learning opportunities.

My company and management are incredibly flexible with hours. I have the independence to manage my own time, and I love that.
