What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Have never received a bonus
Midlevel, Perth
Have yet to see any bonuses, but pay is competitive at the graduate level.

Working in the office: Salary is good and has increased with experience. Working on site: A small site allowance is provided, but it does not cover all the additional hours worked on site or overtime on public holidays. It would be great to be compensated accordingly for the significant increase in work hours, loss of public holidays and general working conditions away from home.

Pay and bonuses are fair for office based work, workers on site should be given more uplift for the extra hours they work, also office workers should be given incentives for attending site visits.
Graduate, Brisbane
Doesn't happen often enough and this contributes to resignations. Doesn't compare to other companies doing similar work who can pay more.

Pay seems okay, and I believe there has been movement to bring it on parity and be more competitive with the market

The pay is quite good for a graduate. I have not heard about receiving bonuses at all.
Graduate, North Sydney
Not ideal - particularly when moving on from graduate program. Several graduates leave for higher paying jobs because company offers are not competitive enough. Also poor communication on bonuses and how to be eligible
Midlevel, Perth
No opinion at the current time.
Midlevel, Sydney
As a graduate you have to be realistic with your pay and also balance pay up with the opportunity to learn. I think CIMIC offers a good balance of these things.
Graduate, Brisbane
The pay and bonuses are very good than other company in my country. But the bonuses depend on the area you are working on.

Pay is competitive bonuses do not apply to me yet
Graduate, South Brisbane
The salary is satisfactory. but There are no bonuses for site employee.
Graduate, Hong Kong
The salary is quite satisfactory, but for bonuses, there is only a hardship allowance. The hardship allowance in Indonesia is only available for projects outside Java. Maybe consider giving another bonus to the project inside Java

The grad package is good, however in comparison with the works and hours conducted it equates to a low figure.

I am unaware if my company does bonuses, if they do I have never received one. The general pay is good for a grad programme but a bonus etc. would be nice

Pay is very good at the company and you rise quickly. Due to COVID I haven't received a bonus yet
Graduate, Brisbane
They are quite generous.

in 2 years, I have received no bonuses. I was told that bonuses are given, but no-one has approached me regarding it although I have asked. I received $5000 after my first year, and $15000 after my second year, both inclusive of superannuation.
