The Evoenergy graduate program is a two year opportunity for you to fast-track your career into the electricity distribution sector. You’ll be offered industry-specific training, professional development, and networking opportunities as you consolidate the theory you’ve learned, and put it into practice. You will be provided an opportunity to perform multiple roles in Evoenergy on a rotating basis, giving you exposure to a range of different jobs.

You’ll also have access to our graduate network. We know transitioning from student life to professional life can be a big life adjustment. We believe in providing an opportunity for our grads to connect with each other and build strong professional networks across the business.

As a network run by graduates, for graduates, you’ll get to take ownership of leading events that contribute to the career development of you and your fellow grads.

Hear from our Graduates

Maria Salazar

What has been your career path since joining?

My career path at Evoenergy has been enjoyable and varied, due to interesting rotations during my graduate program. I have been able to grow as an engineer and develop key skills, from working in different teams across the business. I have worked in Major Projects (project management), Primary Assets (asset management), Protection (team management, scheduling, and program delivery), and my current team, Zone Substations (engineering design and configuration).

Why would you recommend Evoenergy?

The graduate program at Evoenergy was a very rewarding and nurturing experience. I recommend Evoenergy because of the great people and the challenging and meaningful work.

What first attracted you to Evoenergy?

Having reliable access to energy is a ‘need’ and at ANU I learnt about the multi-dimensional complexity of the challenge the energy distribution industry faces. Regulating reverse power flows by Solar Panels, catering for Electrical Vehicle charging stations, managing residential and community level batteries, and catering to a transition to a Work from Home culture presents an optimisation problem begging to be solved. Evoenergy presented an opportunity to develop a breakthrough and transform the distribution industry with potential worldwide repercussions.

Why would you recommend Evoenergy?

The benefits of being a Grad at Evoenergy cannot be highlighted enough. Even at this entry level position we are trusted with major responsibilities and get provided with tailor made opportunities leading to both individual and organisation level growth. The work culture is amazing with the most warm-hearted and cohesive groups coming together making each day joyous.
