How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
10 hours, would be a little nice to do less

8-5:30pm. Perfect amount of hours to fit in everything I need to in a day. Flexible when they need to be, have the ability to work from home if have too

Most of the time I am out on the road. But the 10 hour days (50 hour week) are not very flexible

Hours are good and flexible. 10 hours is a lot though, but it's expected in our industry

We do 10 hour days. I love what I do, so 10 hour days fly by fast. We have good give and take, you never need to take leave if you have an appointment, the business understands that these things are important and they want you to feel like they value you.

Flexibility tends to vary between roles and tenure. Personally I think high pressure roles like sales, branch management, and general management level- are spending way too long at work and the work to life balance is off. Also hard to pinpoint and nail down on this as the people in these sorts of roles are the ones with quite high aspirations and are willing to put in the long and hard hours. Will be interesting to see how the younger 'Gen Z' kids progress in this business, at face value, less grit, bit more entitlement starting to seep through, is this a good thing that they are challenging the traditional 10 hour day? Mental health also a much larger talking point than what it used to be. Also a lot more sick days also post COVID, not just from the younger team but across all members. The operation traditionally was challenged and did some long hard hours, but this has tapered off in the last year or so with less freight in the network.

Semi flexible start & finish times with in reason as long you do your 10 hours

Quite good, majority of our team will get OT if not some roles offer TIL. but we are very flexible dependent on circumstance i.e. appointments/sporting events/outside work activities.

There seems to be little to no flexibility on hours' most days i am finished around 4:30-5pm but need to stay in the office till our finish time

Working approx 10-11 hours days sometimes, wish I had more time to exercise.

Our hours are pretty inflexible due to the nature of the sales job, so we need to be in the office at 8am and leaving after 5pm. All the teams must be in the office or depot and no one can work from home unless it is a covid lockdown or you are sick and this is due to the fact we are in an essential business and we need to be in at work. My Branch Manager is very good with allowing flexibility around my sporting commitments so I really do appreciate this.

Very flexible! In a sales role, there is a need for me to work predominantly during regular office hours but when the need arises I have the ability to adjust hours to suit me. No set "clock in and clock out" hours which is great.

10 x hour day, which can be long however there is the understanding that the nature of the business can often require longer hours on some days compared to others
