The Coles Group Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Plan is supported by their dedicated Indigenous Affairs team. It outlines their commitment to provide more jobs, leaderships & training opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and actively develop their careers.

Coles is proud to be one of Australia’s largest private-sector employers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. By 2023, they're committed to increasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team member representation to five percent of their total workforce and three percent of trade and leadership roles. They're also focused on maintaining retention rates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team members above the Coles Group average.
