I think that leaders take an interest in the career motives and development of their staff. In my experience, leaders have done everything in their power to make sure staff had the necessary tools to do their jobs appropriately and grow toward the next stage in their career. Hiring is kept internal as much as possible. As a graduate, there is plenty of support to obtain whichever role I am looking at, with experienced roles even being offered in conjunction with training and development from the team.

This year I have experienced a number of CSR events run on many different levels of the Bank. From sponsored and graduate run seminars that focus on sustainable investing, all the way up to companywide seminars that discussed child protection in response to the SBS release of The Children in the Pictures.

The strong culture within my current team encourages shared conversations and insights from all. We are actively encouraged by management to take ownership of initiatives and put our best foot forward, without being micro-managed. Management also creates support systems that allow us to ask for help or guidance, and even take ideas to forums for a diverse discussion on concepts. External culture builds on this, with social events encouraged to build stronger networks within the team.

Massive dedication to increasing and supporting diversity in the workplace. There are countless initiatives to help celebrate and support various diverse groups. Good representation of diversity in senior leadership however there is always the opportunity to do better.

2/3 rotations I have taken part in have been very challenging and rewarding roles that have allowed me to take on better ownership of tasks, deliver solutions, and engage with the rest of the business units. 1 role however was a little harder, as I spent more time observing than participating and learning through physical engagement.

Management aims to be open, respectful and caring. I have found them accessible and have had some very interesting conversations.

Beautiful facility, great equipment and technology. Easily accessible however I believe the parking in the building is quite expensive. The dress code is business-casual; some people dress up very nice and some dress up quite casual. We do have casual Fridays.

Started with an online application that required a short questionnaire and resume submission. This was then followed by a number of behavioural and capability tests. Next, we were required to submit two one-way interview answers and then take part in an interview with two members of the bank prior to receiving an offer for employment.

Pay is good and in line with the market. Bonuses are gradually being phased out which may annoy some.

Formal graduate training program for the first 8 months of employment that covers personal development, our company's history, wellbeing, teamwork, industry mechanisms and innovation.

I work about 40 hours a week. There isn't a huge pressure to work late or on weekends, although I have had some late nights when wanting to complete certain projects. If I have ever had something come up where I need to step away from work for a little while, my managers are supportive and don't mind.

There have been some communications around this, but amongst other comms, I have seen less on reducing their environmental footprint.
