I think that leaders take an interest in the career motives and development of their staff. In my experience, leaders have done everything in their power to make sure staff had the necessary tools to do their jobs appropriately and grow toward the next stage in their career. Hiring is kept internal as much as possible. As a graduate, there is plenty of support to obtain whichever role I am looking at, with experienced roles even being offered in conjunction with training and development from the team.
